Serves 4 as starter or 8 as part of a charcuterie board
Equipment Required: Large flat baking tray
30ml Olive Oil
200g Soft and mild goat’s cheese
1Tbsp Chopped basil
- Pre-heat the oven to 190oC/170oC fan assisted/gas mark 5. Slice the half baguette into 8 pieces and drizzle with olive oil on both sides. Place in the oven for 6 minutes on each side and until they are golden and crisp. Remove from oven and leave to cool.
- Place the goats’ cheese in a bowl and use a wooden spoon to soften to a spreadable consistency. Slice the strawberries and chop up the walnuts.
3. Divide the got’s cheese between the crostini and spread onto each piece. Layer over some sliced strawberries and add some chopped walnuts to each one. Finish with some chopped garlic, some seasoning and drizzle with honey.
